A. John and Rebecca set up the roastery on the family plantation in 1993.

A A wholesale Roastery based on Zentvelds family owned coffee plantaion in the lush fertile hills behind Byron Bay in Northern NSW.

A. To become the Australian coffee specialists - through sourcing the finest quality Australian grown (arabica) coffee and presenting it at it’s best in a range of delicious roasts and blends.


Q. What type of coffee do Zentveld’s roast?
A. Zentveld’s roast only Australian grown arabica coffee (Coffea arabica).


Q. Do Zentveld’s roast any imported beans in their blends?

A. No, Zentveld’s roast only 100% Australian grown beans sourcing from purely Australian estates. We support over 20 Northern NSW growers and Qld estates.


Q. How fresh is Zentveld’s coffee?
A. Zentveld’s coffee is freshly roasted and vacuum packed daily into one way valve bags, for the best aroma, crema and flavour.


Q. Do Zentveld’s practice fair trade?
A. Yes - true fair trade! For 13 years Zentveld’s have been paying local growers with world premium prices, rewarding sustainable farm and labour practices.


Q. Have Zentveld’s won any awards for their coffee?
A. Zentvelds are Australia’s most awarded coffee company with 20 medals at the Sydney Royal Fine Food Shows among others.


Q. Does Zentvelds coffee contain caffeine?
A. Grown in a notably cooler subtropical climate produces a slower ripening, sweeter bean which is naturally lower in caffeine.
