accredited training courses....
Our training facilities are regularly being put to good use for barista training courses for the commercial
market run through - Byron Shire ACE.
The course modules taught are accredited and nationally recognized certificate of competency in units of
“ Serve & prepare Espresso Coffee” & “Workplace Hygiene”.
Students also explore detail in coffee origins, processing and roasting, gaining an insight into the elements
of coffee production. Students also receive comprehensive course notes developed by Rebecca & ACE.
Also popular are the ‘Espresso for home’ courses also run through ACE,
where individuals learn to perfect coffee preparation and service
specific to their own machines.
With demand ever so popular we will soon have extra private run
courses - keep in contact for dates.
If you are interested in registering your staff for a course, you can do so
by contacting: Byron Shire Ace - www.acebyron.org.au
with christmas coming - we are happy to pack mixed hamper boxes. Perfect for foodie gifts - you can mix & match with our cafe essentials and coffee, chocolate espressobeans or tea selection to suit individual requirements.

plantation news ....
storm season....
In our last newsletter we mentioned the great condition of the plantation and how lush the crop was looking for harvest ..... well how things can change....
Last week saw the beginning of some humid weather and afternoon storms,
then a few days later came a storm front with winds at gale force, slamming us
with hail stones the size of most, golf to tennis ball size.
We certainly suffered crop losses and damage to the gardens and cars stranded in the
storm’s path.
See our not so happy snaps.....
