Choose your grind based on how you make coffee. Whole beans are best if you grind at home. Espresso is for espresso machines. Stovetop or Moka is a finer grind for stovetop brewers. Plunger or French press needs a coarse grind, while filter or pour over works best with a medium grind.

Yes — where grind options are available, you can choose whole beans or have them ground to suit your brewing method. If grind options don't appear on a product, that item may not currently offer grinding.

Zentveld's coffee is roasted and packed fresh on the farm before being sent out to customers.

A 250g bag is a good option for casual drinkers or trying a new coffee, while 1kg is better for regular home use, households or offices.

Store coffee in a cool, dry place away from light, heat and open air. Keep it sealed in its bag or in an airtight container for best freshness.

Yes — the range includes Australian-grown coffees and blends, with options across lighter and darker roast profiles. Browse the full range in the shop to find the right one for you.

If you're new to Zentveld's, start with one of the core blends or get in touch and we can point you in the right direction based on how you brew at home.

My favourite plunger coffee. I enjoy making it my way. Tried it in store when visiting Byron and decided I needed to have it on hand at home

Excellent. One of my favourite moments of the day is sitting quietly in the sun, sipping my first cup of Matilda.

I have been buying Matilda since 2020 when our coffee shop at work had to close due to covid shenanigans but we (my work colleagues) still needed their fuel. So I made up six double espresso shots and took them in to work in separate insulated mugs and then they converted their own into long black, flat white etc. They all raved about the smooth flavour of Matilda and this practice carried on until the coffee shop could re-open, about two years.

I found the description was close to reality and pleasantly surprised at the fragrant notes of this coffee. It is a medium roast and well-balanced, which made it an easy drinking cuppa. I would order this again.

5 stars for Matilda. Delicious!

For some years we ran an Australian Native Nursery. In the Cafe we served Zentveld's coffee, being an Australian coffee which was enjoyed by our customers. I always favoured Ernesto Roast. Recently, I purchased Matilda Medium Roast to try. So, 5 stars for Matilda. Delicious!

Small price to pay for wonderful coffee.

I came across Zentfeld coffee during the pandemic shutdowns. Our coffee shop at work was closed for the duration. How do you keep a six person surgical team fuelled to continue working? Coffee of course. Several days each week I would make up six double shots of Matilda in six insulated coffee cups and take them in to work where each person then converted the espresso shots into whatever choice they made; hot long black, cold long black, cold latte, americano, flat white etc. No cappuccino as we had not means of texturing the milk. .Everyone loved the smooth reliable flavour of the Matilda. Matilda may be a bit more expensive than supermarket bought coffee beans but I would rather know that my beans came from this year‚' crop and was roasted within the previous few weeks. Small price to pay for wonderful coffee.

Sip Smile Repeat!

Sip, Smile, Repeat! I was introduced to Matilda, by a friend and I became a devoted fan from my first cup! Matilda is an outstanding medium roast coffee. Its super smooth, with just a little sweetness. It is my go to morning coffee (actually, its my go to coffee for anytime!). Matilda is a real treat for any coffee lover! Also, the fact that it's 100% grown and roasted by these guys, shows just how good Australian Coffee can be. Elizabeth Rayner
